How To Be Kind.
It isn’t in any particular gesture but in our everyday small and insignificant acts.
I never sat in the sun on a relaxed day and thought I was kind. But I have often been told at the end of conversations with strangers or people I know that I am kind!
What I think I am is-
- A person who will buy you a small and thoughtful gift, as a gesture that I remember you more often than you think
- I will help and listen to you in any minor, momentarily crisis.
- I will make eye contact with the cashier with a smile
- I will offer you a helping hand without you asking if I see you struggling with something
These actions might seem like no big deal! But do you know that they have the possibility of creating ripples? The recipient of your kindness needed exactly that today! And will pass it on to someone in need, so the cycle continues.
