How To Reset Your Life After A Heart-Break

We have all got this gut punch, at least once!

Depression, difficulty in sleeping, reduced appetite, crying- just a few symptoms of heartbreak I went through! And I am assuming it must be almost the same for you.

Breakups always end with an intense amount of grief surrounding you for days. And if psychologists are to be believed, it is no different than a broken bone. And so recovery from a heartbreak also needs an immense amount of self-care and rest.

So if you are getting out of a long-term relationship or a budding short-term romance, here is your guide to reset your life and emerge stronger.

Start With Self Compassion

With heartbreak comes negative beliefs above self, like, guilt, shame, comparison, and a feeling of failure.

Understand that it wasn’t a test you failed. You are so much more than this heartbreak and you don’t have to compromise anything for anyone. Be kind to yourself throughout the healing journey.

Feel It

While you are at self-compassion, many days will be full of emotional outbursts. My Advice — feel it! Let yourself grieve- cry, scream, write it out. Acknowledge the feeling of hurt…
