The other day, I was sipping my freshly brewed morning coffee, that my partner made, and was thinking about the next blog in the series- How My Love Story Unfolded Over The Year?
It is then, that I decided to write about the everyday small gestures he does for me, since we are together. The gestures that aren’t grand when you see them from a distance, but have an impact on my every day and my mood! It is that — Everyday Kindness and Small Gestures- making coffee, cooking meals, and making sure he let me sleep those extra hours in the morning.
I welcome his Grand gestures with open hands too! But my idea of building a healthy relationship is in the everyday moments. The one that makes you understand the person and holds immense value in the long term.
Why Small Gestures Matter In Any Relationship
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry beautifully wrote in The Little Prince:
“It is the time you have wasted for your rose that makes your rose so important.”
