Travel Movies are my cure for wanderlust, on the days I can’t physically travel!
I remember the first time a movie sparked the travel fire in me. It was, Into the Wild. It is a story about Christopher McCandless — a college student who breaks the conventional societal norm of getting a degree and a job and sets out for Alaska. It is a movie that I feel is closest to my life- Travel the unknown road, people you meet on the way shape you as a person, and every dilemma and adventure he goes through in the journey. The experiences, good or bad, that shape him. The movie is my all-time favourite when I want to watch a wholesome Travel Movie.
Over the years, I came across several Travel movies that hit home! A setup of a scene in a country/city that made me visit the place. Movies on self-discovery made me reflect on my life like the lead in the movie does.
So I made a list of Travel Movies I watch when I am not physically traveling.
